Mind-Body &
Nervous System Recovery

What is Mind-Body Therapy?
Mind-body therapy is a holistic approach that recognizes the deep connection between mental and physical health. It integrates psychological techniques with physical practices—such as breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation, movement, and relaxation—to support emotional healing, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. This therapy helps individuals become more attuned to their bodies and emotions, promoting balance and resilience.
What is Nervous System Recovery?
Nervous System Recovery is a trauma-informed approach that helps individuals move from chronic stress or dysregulation (fight, flight, freeze) toward a state of safety, balance, and calm. It combines body-based techniques—such as breathwork, grounding, movement, and sensory regulation—with mindfulness and emotional support to restore nervous system health and promote resilience. This therapy empowers clients to reconnect with their bodies, build self-awareness, and develop tools for long-term emotional and physical well-being.
